2019 is coming to an end…

Term 1 Program 2020

Hello again!

It’s been some time since I personally posted anything on this website, I need to stop being so slack and stay on top of it all somehow. So, now I find myself back here at the end of 2019 to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I cannot believe how quickly this year has flown by. Many different courses and events have occurred with new and familiar faces running them and being a part of them. The courses here have been busy. The Community Garden (at 13 Murray Avenue, in case you’d like to check it out) has been rejuvenated and given a new lease on life thanks to the lovely ladies who kicked off all the programs there. The Courthouse Crafts has been bustling as always with all the delightful delicacies, knickknacks and doodads dancing out of the door. Bridie Knight has also been a bustling hub of bubs, tots and youngsters.

Thank you to everyone who has been a apart of the Numurkah Community Learning Centre, whether you’ve worked here, studied with us, joined in on any activities, just walked in any of our doors or been a part of the awesome local community. It’s the whole community who makes us who we are and able to do the things we do. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. We truly appreciate your continued enthusiasm and support and hope we can continue to grow in the years to come.

Can you believe it’s almost 2020?! Say it out loud and listen to how odd it actually sounds. We’re in the future!! (Though I’m still waiting for proper hover boards, self lacing shoes, cars that drive themselves, holograms, space travel and exploration for all, deep space mining and proper automatons, not those creepy ones that we currently see.)

Anyway, enough rambling. Please stay safe out there and please enjoy yourselves too.

-Matt

Term 3 2018

Hello everyone. Wow, it is nearly term 3 already! This year is flying by faster than we can keep up!

Is there a course or hobby you have been thinking about doing? Why not pop in and have a chat to us. We are now taking new enrolments for term 3.

We also have quite a few groups that are always looking for more people to join. We have Boomerang Bags every 4th Wednesday of each month. This is a fantastic project for making sustainable bags. And our bags have been so popular!

We have a Parents Support Group every Tuesday morning, which is a great outlet for parents to catch up over a cuppa and morning tea. All parents are welcome. You can even bring your little ones to play with the toys provided.

It is really great to hear the buzz going on around our centre. Everyone is working hard and learning lots.

From Deb, Janine, Jenna and Matt.
